We have a new look!

You’ve probably noticed over the past few weeks that we’ve been making some changes to our overall look and feel. We’re excited to announce that we’ve recently partnered with Avenue 153 and Fifty Elevn who have been in the process of rejuvenating and refreshing our brand, messaging, and marketing to bring them up to the level of the work that we do.

It has now been nearly a decade since we last updated our image and so much has changed between now and then. Since 2012, we’ve gone from supporting 20+ projects to now supporting over 40 projects around the world. We’re dedicated to seeing that number grow even bigger in the coming years. As our impact grows, your confidence in us should grow as well.

About our new look

Streams of Mercy was born out of a passion to care for the most needy and helpless of society. We rescue, restore, empower, love, and bring hope to the hopeless. Since the beginning, we have remained dedicated to our principals of maximizing every dollar given to ensure the projects who need it the most receive these much-needed funds.

In order to properly represent our vision, we focused on two major themes: water & life. With this in place, we took a deep dive into each aspect of our organization by refreshing our logo, creating a water-based color palette using shades of blue from light to dark, and a patterning system that flows with each of the areas our projects represent. It was necessary for us, as we’ve grown, to better convey our branding with a more modern and creative approach.

Our new website design

We’ve known for quite a while that our website needed to be updated, the most obvious need being that it was not optimized for mobile devices. Using our new branding guidelines, we created a modern website design centered around helping you more easily understand what we do and where we are doing it. Finding projects and additional information on our old site was quite frustrating, so we re-organized our projects page and started an ongoing process of making sure that each represents the most current information while giving you easy access to updates about these projects.

A new way to give

Along with our new design, We have simplified our giving process by bringing our donations directly onto our website. In the past, this was done entirely through PayPal, and while this option is still available, we have now added the choice to give securely with your credit/debit card without needing to go through PayPal’s system. This new giving portal allows for secure transactions while simplifying the process of sending you tax-deductible receipts.

In addition to this, you now have the option to cover the processing fees for both Credit Card and PayPal transactions to ensure that more of the money you give gets to the people you are giving to. If you’re wanting your giving to automatically occur on a monthly basis, that option is now available as well.

In summary

All of these changes are quite big for us and at times it has seemed like an insurmountable obstacle that we have not always known how to pass. However, thanks to our new partnership with Avenue 153 and Fifty Elevn, we feel that we are in the position to grow our efforts to new levels allowing us to dramatically increase our impact in the lives of orphans, widows and the most destitute around the world. We would like to thank their talented team for contributing their time, energy, and creativity to this process.

With our new look and sharpened focus, we’re poised to bring life-changing funds and resources to more people than ever before.
